Airasia  is currently offering over 5 million promotion seats which price as low as RM0(Zero) , to destinations like Alor Setar, Yangon, Siem Reap, Krabi, Surat Thani, Chiang Mai, Lombok, Phuket, Solo, Brunei, Sihanoukville, Luang Prabang, Nha Trang and many more on AirAsia (AK) flights.

 

 

The booking start on Monday(13 November 2017) until  19 November 2017 for travel between 7 May 2018 until 31 January 2019.

I found out that the booking website was not easy to be access during promotion period as it keep crashing.

This is due to the high volume of booking traffic!

Fortunately,  AirAsia flight booking can be done on the AirAsia mobile app as an alternative.

I managed to grab the zero fare seats for Surat Thani and Lombok.

You  travel date are not available during embargo period i.e public holiday, school holiday, weekend etc. So choose to travel on Weekday and not on weekend

The return ticket from Kuala Lumpur to Surat Thani  cost me RM97.80 and Lombok cost  RM109.10!

The fare above include only the flight fare which cost zero, GST, processing fee and airport tax.

However, the travel date is on next year!

Destination like Nha Trang cost only RM108.10!

You pay today but only to use their service in the future.

Should you CANNOT travel on the booking date, all the fare paid will be Forfeited except the airport Tax!

I opt out for the Travel Insurance as I already got my existing Travel Insurance.

Always pay the ticket using Online Banking payment method to save on the payment processing fee.

The processing fee for Online Banking is RM4 whereas Payment via Credit card will  cost RM12.

You can enjoy Zero Processing Fee if you use BIG Prepaid Mastercard.

I find out that there are many hidden fees and complicated term & condition to own a BIG Prepaid Mastercard. That’s the reason why I avoid it!

The advantage of paying by Credit card are you’ll get some Travel Insurance provided by the Credit card and earned points.
